S.D. Marine Ltd, a well established yachtbroker at Hamble Point Marina with over 20 years experience both sales and sailing, provdes an independent and professional service. S.D. Marine are members of the British Marine Federation and the Boat Retailers and Brokers Association.
We hold a separate Client Account, Professional Indemnity Insurance and we use a Listing Agreement for used vessels to be brokered which offers a Pre-Sales Survey, giving the assurance that the boat being sold/purchased is fit for the purpose. Our Sales Agreement is more comprehensive than most used in the industry with more security for all parties. We act on behalf of the seller to ensure clear title is available and handed over at completion. We have a large sales area and a dedicated walkway displaying at least 25 boats at all times. We inspect all vessels offered for sale wherever possible, valet the boats in the sales area regularly to ensure they are presented in the best possible way. We are open 7 days a week and always have at least one experienced broker available, no appointments necessary. Other services provided by S.D. Marine Ltd are:
Leave M27 at junction 8, following the signs for Hamble and Southampton. At the top of the hill, take the exit from the Tesco’s roundabout for Hamble. Proceed all the way down to the Hamble village, past parade of shops on right & further along a fire station with red roof. Take right turning at Copse Lane, signposted Hamble Point Marina — proceed to end. After the security gate at the marina entrance, bear left and you will see the S.D. Marine sales area & offices on your right. Turn right in the Spearfish road and park your car.
